Why Thinking Green?

Well, I have been wanting to keep a personal-finance journal for a while, but with the proliferation of such blogs lately I had been a bit skeptical that I could add anything of value to the din. But then it occurred to me tonight that I don't necessarily need to add anything.

I am writing this blog first and foremost for myself, to learn from my mistakes and gain insight into how I can go about accomplishing my goals. Anything else would ring hollow.

I am not a financial expert. My interest in financial matters is purely personal and my knowledge thereof is primarily self-taught.

My main goal is to create wealth enough to support my family and my dreams. I hope to reach this point, whatever it may be, with an eye toward the environment. Money and Earth. That's why Thinking Green.
