What Price Stainless Steel?

Well, the house purchase is done. But now it's time to start setting up the house before we move in. Yesterday, we purchased a refrigerator. It wasn't the precise one I wanted because our space is somewhat constrained for a larger model, but it's a nice one. However, we spent the $200 or so extra to get a stainless-steel model versus the plain vanilla. I think it's worth it in terms of aesthetics, but I'm not wholly sold on the $200 extra value.

My credit-card number got stolen two weeks or so ago. The company called and immediately canceled the number. Still, it's eery to think that some loser made a copy of my card and was swiping it at grocery stores and gas stations.
